Hello world – literally!

The day is here!

I’m not sure how it came around so quickly but it has!

The nerves have well and truly kicked in and I’m not 100% sure what to expect but what will be, will be. All of those worries of my previous post have to be put to one side now because this day has arrived and I’m off!

The goodbyes have been the part I have been dreading the most. I don’t like to get emotional and I don’t like to see others get emotional so it was tough. Saying bye over the last few weeks to friends and family wasn’t easy but it nowhere near prepared me for the goodbyes at the airport! Watching my mum and dad wave me off was hard work but I know they’re happy for me and can’t wait to hear my stories!

Whatever happens in the next year will all happen for a reason. I will make it work no matter what happens and I will make the most of every opportunity there is! I’m lucky enough to have this chance and lucky enough to have the best family and friends to support me!

My posts after this will be a lot more interesting (I hope) and filled with photos (again, I hope) telling you about the adventures I have been up to! Don’t be too jealous, enjoy the stories to come!
